SAGE will establish a fully operational Green Deal Data Space (GDDS) aimed at enhancing the accessibility, integration, and utilization of green and environmental data across the EU to support key pillars of the European Green Deal— Zero Pollution, Climate Adaptation, Biodiversity, and the Circular Economy Action Plan.
SAGE targets 4 initial focus strategic Green Deal actions; zero pollution, biodiversity conservation, climate adaptation/mitigation, and circular economy by implementing a rich portfolio of use cases in each of the target areas. Use cases will operate sustainable services and applications supported by an operational, core GDDS technical infrastructure onboarded with data providers that deliver key high priority and reusable datasets in compliance with the governance mechanisms already elaborated in the GREAT project.
