SAGE establishes a fully operational Green Deal Data Space (GDDS) designed to improve the accessibility, integration, and use of green and environmental data across the EU. Its purpose is to reinforce the key pillars of the European Green Deal: Zero Pollution, Climate Adaptation, Biodiversity, and Circular Economy.
To drive these priorities forward, SAGE deploys a comprehensive portfolio of use cases within each thematic area. These use cases operate sustainable services and applications, all supported by a robust, operational GDDS core infrastructure. The infrastructure brings together data providers who supply high-priority, reusable datasets, fully aligned with the governance mechanisms developed in the GREAT project.
