iClimateAction (iCA) will host a series of technical webinars in preparation for the upcoming GCOS–WGClimate–iClimateAction joint meeting, taking place in Harwell (United Kingdom) from 9–13 February. This meeting will bring together experts in climate observations, data, and knowledge systems from GCOS, WMO, GEO, and partner organisations. Its purpose is to support the development of the new GCOS Status Report and to help launch the next phase of iCA by strengthening the technical foundations for future reporting, planning and coordination.
These webinars are designed as practical preparation for this important gathering.
The first webinar will feature the SAGE Data Space project, presented by our technical coordinator, Mark Dietrich. Mark will introduce SAGE as a European initiative aimed at making it easier to discover, access and use environmental and climate data in support of the European Green Deal.
