When: September 11th, 10:00–12:00 CEST
Where: Circular Textile Days in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands
SAGE project textile use case partners GS1 in Europe, Reverse Resources and TEXroad, co-hosted a workshop at Circular Textile Days:
“EPR and DPPs – Shaping data flows to drive business value”
We brought together a diverse group of stakeholders–from the European Commission to brands, PROs, and the sorting and recycling sectors.
The focus: how can we create business value in circular textiles by connecting Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) with Digital Product Passports (DPPs), and making data reusable through the SAGE project?
Some of the key themes discussed included the need for EPR harmonisation and avoiding duplicated reporting efforts, scenarios on linking EPR data with DPPs, the role of eco-modulation in driving impact, how PRO/EPR data can add value to DPPs, and the relevance of DPPs in the sorting process.
Thank you to all speakers and participants for the insightful exchange, and shoutout to the Circular Textile Days team for the support in organising this workshop!

Thanks for all the professional presentations, input and great discussions!
